how do i remove a nut? is it as simple as using a hammer and screwdriver to wedge it out? I've used the search bar, but all I could find were threads about sanding and filing nuts.

help?

1) Get nut
2) Get a small screwdriver, possibly hammer, and some pliers
3) Try to remove it by "chiseling" it out with the screwdriver, tapped gently with a hammer. The nut is attached with an adhesive similar to super glue. Just try to spalt the joint between the nut and the wood underneath.
4) Grab it with pliers and pull out if necessary.

Sorry, I didn't realize what nut you were talking about. I can't help you here. Get some pliers and yank that son.

Take a blow drier and try to weaken the glue. Then try to chisel it out. Should be much easier.
