sir, i would like to inform you that you are now my favorite UGer. Not only did you use the word y'all, which is native to my homeland, but you correctly punctuated it using the apostrophe.

ebay and craigslist are the only places you can buy online, pretty much. like you said, mesa doesnt allow there new products to be sold online. also, they dont like people selling there amps for less than there listed for i believe.

at my guitar center, they dont sell new mesas, but they always have tons of new ones. i went the other day and there was at least 5 dual rectifier heads, and 3 stilettos, and a DC-5 combo, several recto-verb combos, and more stuff that i cant remember.
TS, if i were you, i'd look for a nice used shop, they always have lots of well priced stuff that you cant find at GC or something

Head and Cab for $130? You don't need a head and cabinet, you need a psychological examination.

Nay, some GC's are certified Mesa dealers. I got mine from a GC in Raleigh NC, the ONLY one in NC that is a Mesa dealer. They only have like, 15 of them though, all in the corner next to the boutique room. Couple of dual rectos, a single recto, two triple rectos, like 3 stilleto deuces, a stiletto ace, a 2 or 3 lonestar combos, and a roadster and road king combo. and, of course, plenty of cabs.
