Play the bottom note for bass. Ex. D/G play G. As far as Em7 it's E minor7. Formula is 1 b3 5 7. You can play the triad or walking bass lines in that key.

D/G means play a D chord with the G note as. Such as C/B= C with B bass root

hes asking about bass ryan, whcih means that wont help, you dont play full chords.

THe easiest thing to be would play the root or the slashed note. There is no Emaj7 exctly on bass, there are arpeggio shapes, and you play the Emaj7 by playing the notes of the Emaj7 one at a time.

The Bible is awesome. Revelation is so badass, I mean, dragons and angels and the devil having an epic battle in the clouds? Badass.

Em7 is NOT E maj 7th, its E minor 7th. Here is one way to do it, which is also how Chris Tomlin does it...

E---3---
B---3---
G---0---
D---0---
A---2---
E---0---
