Why is it that it's okay to "borrow" melodies half the time and the other half of the time, people get sued? Take the song "Talk" by Coldplay. Apparently, they used the same melody as a Kraftwerk song:

Is that legal? Did they give Kraftwerk proper loyalties?

(By the way, I am aware of the Coldplay/Joe Satriani thing right now, so you don't need to remind me also, I happen to be a big fan of both artists.
