Styles of music? I would personally get the Wilshire, but if you are into harder rock/metal, go for the Schecter.

Hmmm... thats a tough call. I think the best thing for you to do is either talk to someone who has played both (or even just one of them for more info), or play them both yourself. But just based on those bands you listed, the Schecter should suit you.

You might want to hear a few other opinions though, I have little experience with either guitars (I've only played the Wilshire for a few minutes, never played any Schecters)
