I left my bass with a friend over winter break and when i returned the saddle for my fifth string was missing/broken. I was wondering if anyone has had to replace a saddle and if there is a preferred site to get the replacement parts. In case you were wondering I have a Schecter Stiletto Studio-5, any help or comments are greatly appreciated.

... How did he lose a saddle. I know they can come out whenever you change a string but losing a saddle is weird.

I'd just go to a local shop that deals Schecter and ask them to order one. They should be able to get one for you.

i almost lost 2 of them way back when i didn't know they could come out
my action was really low for a few days but i just attributed it to the new strings
after those few days i saw that my d and g strings had them and nearly flipped out, but my mom told me she picked them up while vacuuming, so it was all good

and by missing/broken do you mean missing or broken?

I bet he means that he thinks the guy broke them somehow so they came up "missing".
