I own the CS 60s Strat, and they are the best Fenders short of the AVRI.

I own a Classic Player 60's Strat and it beat all the AM STD's I played.

Classic Series 50s here. Does VERY well with a pickup swap. Sounds/plays better than my friends MIJ guitar.

If I weren't getting a custom Carvin as my next guitar, I'd be getting a 70's strat(I know, CBS-era = bleh. But it has a maple board, which I prefer, and the post-1950's more rock-geared pickups. Plus I like the big heads the CBS strats had. ).
