If you could pick three bands that would reform and start gigging and recording as if they'd never split up, who would you pick?

I have been pondering it for quite some time and I narrowed it down to:

Judge
Carry On
On Thin Ice

It was tough as hell to only pick three and they were closely followed by Gorilla Biscuits, Cursed, Bad Brains, Modern Life is War and Champion.

Thou shalt not partake of decaf (ALL!)
Thou shalt not have no idea (ALL)
Thou shalt not allow anything to deter you in your quest for all (ALL!)

Righteous Jams: Rage of Discipline was so good and then they released Business As Usual, people didn't like it and they ended the band. That was such a crappy way to go out, I wish they'd give it another shot.
Go It Alone: they broke up right after releasing Histories, arguably during their zenith.
Cursed: due to their break-up happening in such a ****ty way.

I would never want a classic hardcore band like Judge or Gorilla Biscuits to start putting more material due to most of them ending without a blemish in their careers. I don't think GB could ever make another Start Today and I wouldn't expect Judge to do another Bringin' It Down. Now when it comes to more modern bands, most of the members are still very active in the hardcore scene and if they reformed their old bands, they could probably do just as good, if not better with new material.

The Ergs!
Bad Brains, but only if they played like it was still 1982
Gorilla Biscuits

Gotta say Irrelevent. I didn't fall in love with their new album until they split up like a month after it was released

First of all, I enjoy deathcore for it's complexity and it's the only genre heavy enough for me

I thought the whole idea of post-hardcore was to mix techno and hardcore.....

It wasn't a final tour or anything, just the "Australia 2008" tour. Might still be alive.

Black Flag and Modern Life is War definitely. Then it's a tossup between Botch and every powerviolence band ever.

Revised List: (i can't do 3)

City of Caterpillar
Godspeed You Black Emperor!
Jeromes Dream
Usurp Synapse
American Nightmare
Cease Upon the Capitol
Mihai Edrisch
Sailboats
Bruce Banner
Charles Bronson

Didn't Usurp release new songs recently?
#33
I can't do three!

Most importantly though are Jeromes Dream and ATD-I

then -
Mihai Edrisch
Orchid
A number of Power Violence bands
Pavement (even though they have no place in here ha)
Black Flag

AMERICAN NIGHTMARE

****ing seriously. It will never happen, but this would be my first choice. Also

-Harder the Fight - good dudes, best band to ever come out of the merrimack valley. It's a shame they ended it.
-Bones Brigade - I can only imagine how much fun Bones Brigade shows would be. skateboarding, thrash, I'm into it.

Botch
Modern Life Is War
Cave In

If these three toured together I think I would have a "Scanners" moment.

....

Cave In dont get nearly enough love on this forum

edit: american nightmare. cant believe i forgot them. I also wish i could have seen converge live during the mid to late 90s, hopefully ill get to see them if they tour their new album.
