So I've noticed recently that my wah pedal even when not turned on sucks the life out of my tone when it is in the effects loop.

I heard you can mod them and make them a true bypass but I have no clue how to do that and I don't wanna fk up my new wah and I haven't seen much on how to do it.

Really I could care less how the wah sounds when its on cuz the extra hiss don't bother me when I use the wah but I don't want any hiss when the wah is off.

Basically I want to know besides modding the wah itself what is the best way to bypass the wah?

also if you know a step by step way to mod it that would be great to!

There's a whole thread on modding wahs...here:

And I know Keeley will mod certain Crybabies for true bypass and other things, though it can get a little bit expensive.

Thanks man,

Theres a lot of crap in that thread just on modding the sound of the wah, I just want the bypass not fk with the sound.

Well, which Crybaby do you have? If you have the Classic it already comes with true bypass.
