Blue one is a Floyd Rose Redmond Series 4. plays and sounds great and almost NEVER goes out of tune with the Speedloader bridge.

The pickups in the strat atm are a Seymour Duncan Hotrail in bridge, a standard Fender Singke Coil in the middle and a Dimarzio Cruiser in the neck position.

...and im playing them through a Peavey 6505. At the shop i played the Music Manthrough a Triple Rectifier which also sounded good but i love the sound of my 6505.

yeah it sounds very thick and full bodied but it is'nt muddy at all. the neck is really nice. its thinner than that on my strat but nothing like one of those horrible Ibanez Wizard necks. its just thick enough to feel 'meaty' but thin enough to make it comfortable to play. the bridge is really nice as well and it stays in tune very well with the locking tuners. originally i was looking at Caparison guitars but when i went to try one last Friday this was in the shop and i got them to hold it for me and bought it Monday morning!

P.S. in my oppinion, Caparison guitars were a huge disappointment. if you're thinking about buying one make sure you try one first.

HAHA "sweat dude" yeh im sweating like a paedo in a nursery...only joking.

the neck isnt as thin as a Wizard neck and as you said its more rounded without any flat spot in the middle. Imagine the feel of a strat neck but just thinner.

Niiice guitar man

I wish EB MM had a model just like the JP model, but not Petrucci's signature model. Signature guitars cost so much more then regular.

not to be totally random but how the heck did you get the tm to be smaller then the rest of the letters in your username???!?!?!!?

lol. If you have Microsoft Word, go to Symbols, and you can find the trademark symbol there. It's already small, so don't worry.

buy one second hand off e-bay. they are a bit expensive if you buy one new (i dont know id there are any still for sale from new 'cos they were only built from 2002-04) but second hand they are a bargain!

Why didn't you get the Piezo system with it? ;_;

That's pretty much the only reason I'd get the JP6. Piezo system, and a high quality guitar for a good price.
Quote by satchgear
I tried it out in store.

Great neck, nice n light, good tuning stability. Overall a good guitar. I didn't but it cause I generally only buy guitars over a grand now.
#23
it was used...but there is NOTHING wrong with it; no dings, scratches, fretwear etc.

plus, i dont really want, nor do i need, a piezo system. they are marvelous things but if i had one i wouldnt use it. not an issue though since whoever ordered it new didnt want one either.

The Middle position has such a nice twang to it, the bridge is thick not muddy, the neck is hot and crystal clear. Its SUCH A NICE GUITAR!!! I love the thing to death, congrats I hope you treat yours well.

i'm not too sure about the middle position with the 'twang' sound. i think it sounds extremely thin and i cant seem to find a use for it. i'd much prefer the middle position to be just one coil from the neck pickup so it gets that classic strat blues sound with the middle position.
