I just finished The Perks of Being a Wall Flower and Brisingr, so I'm in need of some new books. I was thinking 1984 by George Orwell, and I have saw A Clockwork Orange recommended here before so maybe it too. So any good suggestions?

Get Easy Grammar. It's a great book and it teaches about grammar.

Read some Poe. His shorts are good if you don't have tons of time to read.

Back in the 70's I decided to take all the frets off Jaco's Bass thinking he would play worse. Man did that backfire.

There is a fourth. AND DON'T LOOK AT THE END. Its a good surprise. Its just that Brisingr took about a year to write and it was JUST released. Now I have to wait a year for this next one =(

I don't think I'm going to finish the Eragon series... Or whatever they're called. Inheritance? Kinda lost interest.

As for recommendations, try:

A Song of Ice and Fire. AMAZING fantasy, but it's probably unlike any fantasy you've ever read. Pretty complex, lots of political stuff and conspiracies, harshly realistic and dark. And the sex scenes

Wheel of Time. Amazing fantasy, extremely descriptive... Like, REAL world descriptive.

Definitely read 1984.

I read this as suggest me some boobs

The catchall recommended book I cannot suck the dick of enough is Ender's Game. Read that and all its sequels. Also, if you're into 1984, you'll love Kurt Vonnegut.

Ignore this one. I apologize for double post, but seriously, don't ever read this book. It's utter drivel and it tries to teach you life lessons, but it fails at that because it's narrated by such a dickhead.

Oh i see. I thought you were talking about Brisingr being the last book in the trilogy. Yeah I'm hoping to read this one slow so when the fourth one comes out I'll at least remember half the stuff that happened in the third one.

Fahrenheit 451, I'm currently reading it now.

If you liked 1984, you'll probably enjoy that one.

+1 to 'Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas' and 'anything by Stephen King'.

Dreamcatcher is probably the best book I've read this year (not saying much, if you know what I mean but it IS good!). Crappy title, awesome book.

i suggest IT by stephen king. that book is so disturbing. i could literally feel myself becoming a worse person while reading it. ive read it twice, and liked it both times.

but its also great, until it turns into child porn.
