So the title says it all, my crybaby 535Q sounds like a volume pedal when I use it, and I don't understand why... did that on my two amps
my chain goes as follow:

guitar (fender jaguar, ibanez RGT42FX)
planet waves tuner
crybaby 535q
boss ds1
EHX big muff pi
MXR phase 90
small clone
carl martin red repeat delay
ehx holy grail plus
traynor ycv40wr tube amp

i can't play right now because everyone's sleeping, so i'll have to wait until tomorrow to try the suggestions
the weird thing is it seems to work when I use my pacifica's single coil pickups..

There is a bad connection somewhere in there, I forgot where exactly, but someone who mods wah pedals or is familiar with the Crybaby circuit should be able to tell you exactly where it is.

True. But we're talking about the broken 535q.

i'll find a crappy mic and record some clips, hold on

edit: http://www.mediafire.com/?kfokynaiunw
so i just did a clean chord, then a clean chord with the wah, then some dist, then some dist with the wah
edit2: well i didn't even notice it before, but it looks like it does the same in clean... :/

its the 4.7 cap, if its out of the circuit then it becomes a volue pedal
