The drums in One Day As A Lion (the whole EP) are pretty freaking awesome. Then again, they are in Mars Volta too. Jon Theodore

They credited us with the birth of that sort of heavy metal thing. Well, if that's the case, there should be an immediate abortion.

Big Black used a drum machine if I'm not mistaken.

As for my contribution I always liked the drums in Sleater-Kinney and Sonic Youth's work once Steve Shelley joined.

So much Tool to choose from, but I'll go with what I think are Danny Carey's best: 46 & 2, Lateralus, and The Grudge.
Josh Homme writes the greatest lyrics EVAR:
"I wish we could get away
Drink wine and screw"

"Nicotine, valium, vicodin, marijuana, ecstasy, and alcohol
C-C-C-C-Cocaine!"

"I wanna lick you too much"

I always liked the drums to Tommy Gun, mostly because of the intro. Don't know if they're the best ever, but oh well. :P

Other drums I like: any from Mastodon. The drummer, Brann Dailor, is insane.
