#2

I enjoyed it, but also found the alternative conformity mentality in it a bit scary.

Dude I got these strings the other day that couldn't be tuned to higher than 4 octaves below middle C then I realized that they were shoelaces and they weren't making any sound at all.

I'm listening to my favorite song from that movie right now! The devil battle thing.
It's kind of a corny stupid movie, but I enjoy watching it.

I liked it, but when he's teaching the kids rock history, and the camera passes by the board, I noticed that Soundgarden was split into two words (Sound Garden) and haven't been able to get over that.

Its directed for kids to get into rock music, but I still love it anyway.

Every parent should show that movie to their kid at least once, to wash out the thought of crappy pop music.

Jack Black is one of my favorite actors and I love the movie.

I was um, 10 when it came out I think. And yes, it partially inspired me to pick up a guitar.
He's a freak of nature, but we love him so.

I don't know if that can be really considered a "montage." It's not cheesy 80's pop-rock.

This. I swear 95% of the kids in my school love nothing else but rap, hip hop, and pop

Anyways, I forget how I actually got into playing guitar, but I think it had to do with this movie. One of my fav movies

Loved that movie. It kinda inspired me to start playing guitar.

On a side note, the bass player in my band looks very similar to an older version of Zach (Is that his name?). And his dad looks oddly similar to Zach's(?) dad.

"You're tacky and I hate you."

God I love that movie. I remember watching it when I was like 10 and seeing it now and actually knowing the bands is cool. I remember when they were in the bar listening to Stevie Nicks and I totally forgot she was the one who sang that song. So my girlfriend at the time's parents took us to a Stevie Nicks show one night and when she played that I started screaming "SCHOOL OF ROCK!" Drunk lady next to me got pissed.

The most epic movie montage ever (as stated before) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cQ4LJebvtB4 And its in Spanish at the end!

Always get sad watching that part. I really miss good music.
