depends on what type of metal youre playing. but two pedals that i absolutely love are the boss metal zone and the boss metal core. ive also heard great things about digitech's grunge pedal.

well, I play stuff like amon amarth, all shall perish, kalmah, SOAD, war of ages, etc.

im looking for a sound somewhat like that, not to fuzzy/digital sounding but still can get good sound from it

oh yeah, I like my current amp fine (my yamaha, not MG xD)

it doesnt have any effects on it though except reverb so I wanted to get a pedal for it
