I am installing a '59 bridge in a schecter omen 6.

It only has 2 wires comin off of it. One has a black cover and the over is a bare one.

Where should I wire these?

The schecter has a 3-way switch with a volume and tone knob.

I am also installing a alnico 2 in the neck position.

But that one is easy, I think.

Any help would be great.

Sorry if it seems scattered.

My thought process is kinda f-ed.

If I'm not mistaken the bare wire should be the earth which goes to the back of the pot and the covered wire goes to an eyelet on the side, the side wire should just go in the same position as the wire from the old pickup. If in doubt do a search for a wiring diagram for this pickup.

'59s are single conductor pickups. There should only be 1 line.

How would I wire it to the 3 way switch?

Can it be wired?

From what I can gather from the SD diagram I would wire one as my ground and the other to the volume knob, right?

But doing this would only let me control the neck pickup with the 3 way and not the bridge.

Is this how it has to be done?

My '59 just always has to be on?
