Hey, I'm doing a powerpoint projoct for Language Arts. It's on 60s rock n roll. We've got the powerpoint down, but can anyone suggest any really iconic 60s songs? I could think of some, but I thought the pit would be better than me.

Not 100% on release dates, but get some Chuck Berry, Eddie Cochran, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Gene Vincent involved. Some of those might be 50s...The Stooges s/t was released in 1969, get I wanna be you dog in.

If you put the Kinks, don't play You Really Got Me. Do Waterloo Sunset. Or Situation Vacant.

..Furthermore, Steppenwolf is needed.

I dunno, I think one of the vocal lines in Situation Vacant where he does an Alice in Chains vocal type thing was really cool. That's why that's my favorite Kinks song.

Furthermore, I think you need something from Monster Movie by Can on there.
