I just got into sweeping and I have a question. If I want play these Arpeggios how do I have to play the turning point strings (the string before i sweep up/down again).

----------------12--------------------------------12----------------
------------10------10------------------------10------10------------
---------9--------------9------------------9--------------9---------
-----10--------------------10----------10--------------------10-----
-12----------------------------12--------------------------------12-
----------------------------------------------------------------------
or that one

----------------10-------------------------------10---------------
------------8------8-------------------------8------8-------------
---------7-------------7------------------7-------------7---------
-----9--------------------9-----------9--------------------9------
-10--------------------------10-------------------------------10--
--------------------------------------------------------------------
actually it doesn't care which chord it is, i just don't know in which way I have to pick that.

^ . ^ . ^ . ^ . v . v . v . v .. ^ . .... ^ .. ^ . ^ . v . v. v . v . v/^
(last stroke could be either unless you intend to continue to sweep from there)

Hope that works
Hey, look. Sigs are back.

build up your sweep motion on muted strings so you can see what feels better for you, then use that.... no1 can tell you how to pick your own strings, coz it might not be the right style for you
