Hi, if a song is in the KEY OF A and there is a B MINOR and a C# chord in it what will the chords be in the KEY OF B FLAT??

All you do is work out the intervals of the first song and bring them to the next one. After that you just keep the major/minor part. So...


A - B is a major 2nd
A - C# is a major 3rd


Now you're in Bb

Bb up a major 2nd is C
Bb up a major 3rd is D

remember to keep the rest of it the same (the major/minor part) leaving you with the chords C minor and D major.


(^yes, you got it right rhysm, but you didn't state major or minor and I wanted to explain it to TS).
