Is that possible? All of the ones that I have seen online were electric acoustics.

But yeah, you're right. They do exist.
They're not as common as electric-acoustics, because acoustic bass guitars do not project very well (at least not as well as acoustic guitars or contrabasses). I guess they make more electric-acoustics because they don't want to limit you to just playing acoustic because of the volume issue.
