It's not 'new age'. I thought the 'new age' parenting method was to plop their toddler in front of the TV while they try to fulfill they're dreams?

Anyways, I stopped feeding at around 1, maybe 2. I actually have a very early memory of being breast fed...

I was a month premature.

Something like I attached to my moms stomach and if she had given birth to me normally there was a good chance one or both of us would bleed to death.

Oh life...

man thats rough

I was three months premature, and Im a twin so my mum was pretty sure we would both be stillborn becuase she went into very early labour, but after we were born our hearts kept stopping and they didnt think we would make it.
but we did and the weird thing is, certian trivial things about me didnt develop properly becuase we were so early (I have messed up toes ) dunno if the same goes for you.

I owe my mom quite a bit.

She was cut open just so I would live. (I suppose I nearly killed her...)

Have 3 brothers. One of them was breach so he was cut out to.

Yay, another completely unbiased, truthful and informative documentary from Channel 4. Not tinted in the slightest to make the subjects seem as weird as possible to capture the rubbernecked audience's imagination.

I don't exactly know how I'd go about finding how long I was breastfed for...

I feel the same way, I can really explain how grateful I am to my mum for going through that and even the after effects (she was so ill after giving birth she couldnt eat and was down to a size 0 within a few months)
I wouldnt say Im guilty exactly, but ahhh you know its just one of those things you cant really ever get across as to how thankful you are.

A hundred or so years ago and we would have both died at birth (most likely).

Oh and there wouldn't be the Pit.
