So unless you can point out a better easy-to-attain TV than one of these two (and under $400), I'd like the help of the pit to guide me in my television purchase.

Some potentially important info:

My laptop's resolution is 1680 x 1050, but I'm not sure how often I'd use the TV as a monitor.

The TV will be in my dorm room (actually a decent sized room for a dorm) the majority of the time, otherwise in my bedroom.

I have basic cable in my dorm, but it'll mostly be used for Xbox 360.

Any other questions that I can answer that might help you feel free to ask.

I don't think it's really neccesary to usethe TV as a computer monitor unless watching a movie, and if you're gonna do that I'd just put the DVD in the Xbox. But I'd go with the cheaper one, don't have to deal with mounting it and stuff.

Both of them come with stands, so mounting wouldn't be an issue, but thanks for the reply.
