Seconded. It would suck for sure but I'd kill for that to happen just once just so I can swim to my local drug store for some candy.

i took my subaru for a swim in seven inches of water to work
im actually surprised i didnt get any air in the intake
i had to piece together a route to my job since 90% of the roads were closed
it was pretty bad actually
i should build a raft

and part of me thinks it would be a great idea to go innertubing down the Nooksack river when the water level has raised 20 ft.

(such a bad idea)

Issaquah is flooded too. The antique mall and Gilman Village are right next to the creek so they're goods are wet

Dang... I live in Renton.

It rained hard last night. Thank god I live on a hill. Yet... I, too, wish to go to the grocery store on a canoe.

I knew it was bad up in Bellingham, but didn't know it was that bad. We have some roads closed in Ellensburg, but it's not all that bad. Stay safe TS.

I'm from Vancouver. We haven't had any floods.

washington or canada
which reminds me
i met a REALLY dumb canadian couple today at work. they came in and i asked what brought them through (cause of the weather)
their words:

"oh well, they kept saying on the radio that everyone should stay home and off the roads, then we heard they called it a 'state of emergency' from the flooding. so we decided to come down to see what was going on."

me: well where are you trying to go?

them: "to the casino for a bit, then drive around for a look"

me again (sry for blatant stereotyping):
well the main roads to the casino are overrun with water or closed, and in about 5 more hours, the Sumas river is gonna flood over causing the town to shut down your only way out of this area. and on this side of town, there's only one motel, and it's $85 a night.

them: "$85!! guess were going home then"
*leaves*
me: "retarded"
