At the beach,
Who thought I could be so detached,
But I’m still alive,
I’m still alive.

Out to sea,
Who knew I would go home this way,
But I’m still alive,
I’m still alive.

Remember me,
Ashes to ashes,
Drowning in dust.

At the beach,
Who thought I could be so detached,
But I’m still alive,
I’m still alive.

Out to sea,
Who knew I would go home this way,
But I’m still alive,
I’m still alive.

Remember me,
Ashes to ashes,
Drowning in dust.

Struggling slowly,
Too bad it’s already been put to rest,
Drown me out,
If you will,
But you know,
It hurts me the most.

Remember me.

This struck me as a nice calming slow acoustic piece. The repetition would normally annoy me, but in this case it worked in your favour. I would love to hear this, just from reading the lyrics.
