my bad for the last one

Back when picket fences and thick lenses were filled in every home
by hard working bones that thought they had it all under control
of the surroundings, that idea is so dumbfounding
They didn't even know that the pressures were mounting
Long poodle skirts and appropriate aged births
Buttoned down blouses and collared dress shirts
Drive in movies, bases didn't pass first
boys could be doctors and every girl could be a nurse
When cars were full of muscle and razors got rid of stubble
When littering was bad and it actually was trouble
Man, weren't those the days, look back and reminisce
A picture of unity and unadulterated bliss

Look... and see, its nine....teen fifty three
What... you see, is what you will believe

Do you miss the way the jukebox played all of your tunes
The only TV violence were those silly cartoons
innocent days, those days so, so far away
memory does funny things, blurring certain things
Dreams were the sky, and high was pointing up
Not what some do when they say they've had enough
Ties were worn on weekdays and dad would grab his briefcase
Give the wife a kiss and couldn't wait 'til the weekend
Apple pie, window sill, black and white TV still
put some pork chops on the grill
all your dreams will be fulfilled

Look... and see, its nine....teen fifty three
What... you see, is what you will believe
Look... and see, its nine....teen sixty three
What... you see, is what you will believe
Look... and see, its nine....teen seventy three
What... you see, is what you will believe
Look... and see, its nine....teen eighty three
What... you see, is what you will believe

A perfect created image thats gonna get pillaged
By a dose of truth, and of a time diminished
A time thats finished and can be seen thick and through
and where memories can't be proven false or true
two wheeler bikes that break'd when ya pushed back
skid marks smoking like dragsters on race tracks
speed so fast, tears rolling down your cheeks
But the good ones, not the ones when you used to bleed

Its good. A tad bit clean for my likings, makes you sound like a square. I don't know who really listens to rap to hear things like it, but ****, if they come out with an album of raps dedicated to kids, this would be good.

yea I'm really into making alternative hip hop, kind of sending different messages and more of an old school story telling vibe then about the generic lifestyle aspect of things. Thanks for the crits. I personally think expletives are words used because you can't think of better words to express yourself. I just think cursing makes people sound dumb, so I avoid them.

SOmething with a great beat and rhythm that tells a story that make me smile, or feel something. I loved this. Very, very good. This is what rap should be. Are you going to record it?
