Must.......... ATTEND!!!!!

EDIT:

Mastodon, Neurosis, Boris, 1349, Torche, Nachtmystium, Baroness, Harvey Milk, Krallice, Rwake.

So much win. So little time.

Also, there are no prices on tickets, all it says is "Free admission with ticket" on the Scion website.

Mastodon, Skeletonwitch, and possibly High On Fire are the only bands that get me excited on that list. (unless we're talking about Cyptopsy circa 1995)

And there's really a band called Harvey Milk?
#9
Cryptopsy are so fukking out of place
That's a sick lineup though.
Did I see Tyr really small at the bottom?

The entire lineup is odd in my opinion, but I'd still love to go if I could.

Skeletonwitch and Mastodon in the same night would be a great experience to say the least.

I only would be interested in seeing a few bands there, but I'd probably go anyway if it was anywhere near me.

Pretty much.

The only thing that could make it better is for Devy to show up, show me a family tree showing that we are linked by blood, and that he is moving me to Vancouver to be part of his next album.

Yep. They're a sludge band from Athens, GA. Their newest album "Life... The Best Game in Town" is pretty great, as is their album "The Pleaser".

Yep.

The guy was never put away, either.

Harvey Milk was the first homosexual to hold public office, he was (if I'm not mistaken) the city councilman for San Francisco (I know he held office in San Fran).

Of course, the extreme right went ape shit, and he was murdered. During his trial, the man said that he had too many sweets that day, and went temporarily insane due to the excess sugar levels.

The judge and jury took his case, he was let off with voluntary manslaughter, instead of murder, and, needless to say, riots broke out all over San Francisco. The case became known as the "Twinkie Defense".

Anyway, yeah, good band.

..............................

I'm not going to the Rock Fest anymore.

I have no one to go with, since the tickets were "sold out" in basically no time. I have my ticket registered, and have until Sunday to go pick it up, but I can't go to this alone. I do too much stuff alone, and being at a large festival by myself would not make the experience fun for me.

I know I'm missing a once in a lifetime event, but I just couldn't stomach trying to enjoy it alone.

Yesterday was not a good day.

I am a few hours away. I seriously doubt I will go. The lineup isn't that great really.
