Yeah, as silly as it sounds, I need a french name. My french lecturer demanded us all to have a french name for her class, and said Kyle won't do. Any suggestions? A name that starts with a 'K' would be good. Thanks.

That's not the correct French spelling, that's Dutch actually... But Christophe would be the closest you'd get to a name starting with a K (and that's actually a COMMON name, unlike "Kaarle" )

thats kinda retarded so annoy her with some name that will piss her off.
May I sugest something along the lines of:
Adolf, saying the Germany is close to france
or dynamite saying that you though it was some french guys last name.
Seagulls,the chicken of the ocean.

Thanks for the names guys. But can you include the pronounciation too? It was my first class last week and seems that some words are supposed to by pronounced in a weird way.Ah, I dunno.

I second the Jean-Luc.

If you get to pick a surname, I suggest Picard.

I know two guys called Karl and they're very french indeed, I also don't know anyone named 'Christophe', except a couple guys named Christopher, who happen to be quite english...

Can't think of any named begging with K but as long as you have 5 first names you should be covered well, like my dad, Jean Luc Armand Joseph Claude Brosseau, he doesn't really go by that name very often though...

"Kaarle" works. Its a name beginning with K, and it's French.
See? http://www.meaning-of-names.com/french-names/kaarle.asp

Problem is that I have never, ever met anyone called that or heard of anyone called that. And I live in Paris. So scratch that one.

I actually can't think of a single name that starts with K. That said, a fairly prominent TV presenter calls himself Karl Zero. That's as close as you're going to get.
