I was just messing around on my guitar earlier coz i wasnt in the mood to practise and i came up with this riff. It's not amazing or anything but i need UG's thoughts on this.

Is this riff or something very similar already used in a song? Cos when i play it i keep thinking its in a song but i can't be bothered to trawl through my large itunes collection to find it.

Do any of you recognise it too? Id like to know, coz if not id like to keep it back for myself and see what the guys at band practise think.

Many thanks,

Jon
