Looks like you just keep your first finger on the 5th fret and stretch the others to match the other notes when needed.

this is actually the best way to play that part, it sounds better and is so much easier, cause cold hard bitch is an easy song, its basicaly just rythem.

this is an excersize that kinda sucks at first, but when you learn it, it becomes the standard rhythm line for like every blues song ever, and most classic rock songs

Yea, the song is pretty easy, but for some reason, I could not get my pinky that far out. I am working on it though. I play it both ways to get the hang of it.

I have seen that pattern in a lot of blues songs, so I knew it was familiar sounding at least.

I need more theory.
