Do you know of any guitars (preferably with 2 humbuckers) that would sound good for pop punk music (hit the lights, new found glory, all time low, paramore etc) for around £300-£350?

EDIT: does anyone know any guitars similar to the Fender Telecaster Deluxe (something which is actually decent, not the squire version)?

Anything you want.

But to be specific, an HSS Strat, an Epiphone Les Paul Studio, or an Epiphone SG G-400.

My band plays hardcore punk and pop punk, and I use an Epiphone SG. It works really well.

I suppose you mean a strat copy due to my budget? So yeah, i've heard Yamaha pacificas are good, well the mid/high end ones. Do you know anything about them? Which are they best ones?

^^Speaking of teles,

At Sam Ash I saw the sickest tele ever.

it was black, had 1 humbucker, and had a checkerboard pickguard.

it was a Squier though.

And its an Avril Lavigne signature

Good thing I didn't plan on buying that.

No, HSS Strats (Non-american made) go for around $400.

Its the same price as the G-400, and the Epiphone Les Paul.

HSS Strats are basically Strats, but with a Humbucker in the Bridge Position.

you dont need two humbuckers for pop punk, just throwing that out there

I know, but i prefer humbuckers to single coils a lot of the time.

I agree, I hated an AMERICAN Strat because it had single coils.

Then when I picked up an HSS Strat I sounded so much better.

And this was all through a Mesa at Guitar Center also.

Goddammit, I have to stop posting in this thread.

In styles like pop punk, you just kind of have to decide whether you like singles or humbuckers better, and go from there.

If you like humbuckers, i'd recommend an Epiphone LP or SG, and if you like single coils, find a used Highway One Strat.

get the tele deluxe secound hand ive seen them go for $400-500 used.

Hmm, there aren't any on ebay at the moment. There is a tele deluxe body for £250, which is about $500 isnt it? Exchange rates on guitar stuff is so unfair...
So if the body is 250, god knows how much the guitar will be on ebay.

I dont mean to sound picky, but LPs are too heavy for me and SGs have thick necks which i dont like hahah.

Then that Tele with the humbuckers or a Fender Standard HSS Strat will do you well.
