I was playing my acoustic and came across this riff from a song i've heard a thousand times but I cant place it.
I uploaded a junk version of it to my profile under "What song is this?"

So can anyone please tell me what song its from?

It's obviously a popular chord progression, and one which is used in the classic song 'Free Love on the Free Love Freeway'.
There is poetry in despair.

That's like every song ever. I wrote a song with that exact progression and strum pattern (up until the last chord, i changed that the second time through). Unless you get a lot more specific, you're not gonna get anywhere with that.
