I don't mean your dream bass, I mean actually putting something into production, as in reissuing a discontinued model, or something similar to a bass already in production. IE, maple neck MIM fenders, which I know a lot of people are complaining about, or the Warwick Fortress. Also, you can choose more than one.

Here's my list:
P-bass 24 (like the jazz 24. also, it would have a PJ pickup configuration, and contoured neck heel like the MIA strats)
MM SUB's (for everyone else's sake)
Also, I think all Fenders should have (at least) 21 frets and an option on any bass with a J pickup in the bridge position to have it in the 70's positioning

I'd like to see PRS make a bass. Okay they make that signature bass, but something actually affordable is what I'd like to see.
#4
Fender to make all their basses 21/24 fret.

For the Fender P Special to actually have a precision neck.

Warwick Fortress, preferably a JJ wenge neck, ash body model.
Fender Coronado, I rather like the feel over every other hollowbody I've played.
a Fender/Gibson team job of a Fenderbird, preferably with the ever awesome mid position single coil mod.

A Bass with built in multi FX

As apposed to just buying the pedals seperatly, like everyone else does.

And of course with pedals, you have the luxery of being able to controll them with your feet, and not having them in the way when you're trying to play.

I'd like to see Fender construct a few more basses that stray from their common body shape design.
Hi.
#22
an affordable fender p that would have neck-thru, an added humbucker by the bridge, 24 frets, 5 string model and 6 string model, 35" scale, make the upper horn bigger so you can use it as a handle, make the head colour be the same as the body colour, and some funky pickguard graphics
My Rig:
Yamaha RBX 375 bass
Peavey Millenium BXP bass (won at Summer Slaughter 2010, signed by all the bands)
Eden Nemesis NC410 320w combo amp

Ya, but I'd be concerned about the tone. I don't think tortured human souls would be very resonant.

I'd assume not much will happen - the vintage status will still allow them to maintain their price.
