I have a picture of a person and i have it all outlined with the pen tool, but when i try to fill it with a solid color via the paint bucket it fills the whole picture not just what i have outlined. How do i separate the outlined section from the background?

I tried BAGDAD tuning once, it actually was quite alright.

Do you have to actively try to spell words that wrong or does it come naturally to you?

You are very clever.

I invented this literary device I call sarcasm, that was an example of it.

Create a new layer and paste this selection into the layer.

Then use the Fill tool.
Play the man, Master Ridley; we shall this day light such a candle, by God's grace, in England, as I trust shall never be put out.

did that, still goes over the whole thing and i am left with an outline of the selection but just the outline the selection is blacked out with color

Make sure the shape is closed?
Blindfolds aside I'd probably still close my eyes

And try to feel a trembling fetal life inside
that shotgun barrel that's about to make me bleed

Like an ulcer in the stomach of the beast
