I'm playing around with pitch correction with this song:

Decode, by Paramore.

I was never taught musical theory, so I'm at a loss with how to tell it's key I'll have a look around, but it seems like the thing that takes a while to learn and hone.

If someone could tell me the scale (chromatic, minor, or major) and the key, it'd be greatly appreciated.

I feel really dumb

fairly sure it's minor...but I'm probably really wrong.

A lot of pros do that: if they play a wrong note, they'll hit it again to make it look as if it's intentional. It's called "jazz", aparently.

I looked at chords somebody posted up on UG and ran them through this tool; http://all-guitar-chords.com/chords-to-scale.php

Best guess, Bb minor. Could also be C# Major.

This man is right.
