regardless of the shape of the neck, you'll need to know the thickness of it, otherwise it wont be the same.

If you cant get a digital caliper, cut out a piece of paper, and make neck gauges at various points on the neck, so you shape your neck the same.

Don't measure using the frets as the reference point, unless you want to compensate for scale.
Because if you change the scale length at all while building your LP, which I assume you will, then the frets will be in different places. So if you want the neck to be exactly the same shape, that's not smart. If you want it to compensate for the different scale, then all is well.

When you're carving the neck you make, just check it with your hands as you carve.

That way it will be better than the BC Rich neck...

Short of using a CNC replicator, not really.

Those pics won't help. besides, you're using a tape measure and a camera, you can't expect us to know how big it is if you take a picture of the measurement!

I do enjoy a good facepalm sometimes.

Get yourself one of these

It's called a Contour Gauge. Use it to measure the contour of the neck and then make cardboard templates that you can use to check your progress. I like to measure the contour pretty much all the frets that have a fret marker plus the 1 fret.
Not taking any online orders.

agreed, I used one of these when I worked on odd jobs DIY etc. over the summer last year and they're very entertaining and cool, they also work. we were laying laminate flooring and I used it to get my boss annoyed cos I'd cut the crosssection of the door scirting EXACTLY to size and there'd be no room for it to move to torerate errors.
