How much money do you have for your birthday? If you have more, get more than a Spider III. Though some people like it, you can get much better amps for a bit more, and sometimes the same amount, of money.

Nothing wrong with a spider but get a 15 watt spider then save for a VK you will not regret it!

Nothing wrong with the epiphone model its pretty much the gibson one.

UG Mods really have no sense of humour.....

The Gibson Tony Iommi is not being made anymore and I think that it cost 5500$ (not sure at all about that, it's just what I was told)

ya the gibson Iommi was going for $4k last i saw one online.
you might be thinking of the Epiphone Iommi Sig, which is about 1/10th the cost

The Tony Iommi Signature SG has been discontinued. Why not get a Standard SG?

The Tony has two extra frets and his pickups, maybe that's what he's after.

But why not get the Epiphone Tony SG? Isn't it basically the same thing?
#17
The prophecy series SG's also have 24 frets if you need an alternative and thats your selling point

Ok, both amps that ur thinking about suck. Marshall MG's are horrible and the same goes with line 6 spider III's (trust me on that statement because i own 1) Go for a peavey vyper in whatever wattage you think you'll need.

they're alright for practicing, the small ones anyway, the bigger ones are just a rip off.
Plus they won't do the gibson justice.

you know what you should get instead of a spider or a marshall MG a roland cube. they're the same price as the spider but the difference is it doesn't sound like you've plugged a screaming cat into a horse turd

Man, so many gibson sigs like Tony Iommi and Tom Delonge are discontinued and are now epiphone. I guess its because they were so expensive that no one bought them. Gibsons are WAAAAAAYYYYYY overpriced. Sure they're great guitars from what I hear but still, many people agree that a piece of wood with strings and electronics shouldn't cost like $2000 dollars.

Worst decision ever!!! Get an Orange Tiny Terror if you want an amp in that price range. They are all-tube and sound great. The spider will sound processed and stale.
