I'm not entirely sure if this is the right section and if it isn't, I apologize. I'm curious as to how you can get a really good sound when playing concerts e.t.c. because whenever I turn the volume up, and I damp the strings to stop noise, I can hear it clearly.

My other question is this. I have a bass guitar pedal, a zoom b1x, and I was wondering if I could use it with my electric guitar. My electric guitar pedal doesn't have an expression pedal with it and I want to use my b1x. Is this possible?

Thanks in advance,
Jake

When I play, in between songs I just let the last note I played from the previous song ring, until I start the next song.

Might not work in whichever genre you play but it works for me.

Good pickups on your guitar / standing a decent distance away from your amp should stop most of the noise (when strings are muted).
