Do floyd roses work without having a locking nut? I know it will still work, but is it worth it? will it always go out of tune and stuff?

it's not worth it if you don't have a locking nut.
you might as well just get a 50 dollar cheapo off ebay.
even if you get locking tuners and a graphite nut the pressure from pulling up will go all the way to the end of the headstock and pull the entire neck up.

That's not really the point. The main problem is that it'll go out of tune very quickly.

Well the locking nut's job is to make sure the tension between the saddle and nut stays uniform even if you use the tremolo arm. Basically, if you take the locking nut away you're not really much better off.
Yeah, now you're gonna die wearing that stupid little hat. How does it feel?

Help me to live.

I make custom guitar wiring harnesses and I'm pretty damn good at it!

Yes, it will work with locking tuners, just not as well as with a locking nut.

All these people saying you can't use locking tuners have probably never even tried...

You are much better off with a locking nut though.
