Well, I've been messing with guitar for years, but it was mainly bass and solo stuff on guitar. Now I want to get back to the basics, mainly music theory and chords.

What are some good songs that aren't too hard that are good for getting used to commonly used chords and switching between them?

well it wouldn't hurt to start with stuff you like
but i guess i would recommend social distortion... ball and chain, sick boys, story of my life, prison bound, sometimes i do, footprints on my ceiling, winners and losers, etc
those are some of my favorites, anyway
