I was wondering what you guys would say to describe a stem; the vine a flower stands upon

I'm thinking like green tower or something, but I think it just sounds ****ing stupid

BTW this is for a poem I'm writing, I just want some new takes
And we will weave in and out of sanity unnoticed
Swirling in blissfully restless visions of all our bleary progress
Glowing in radiant madness

Why is the thread called 'open=heavier'?

A stem is a rigid "spine" like structure to hold the flower up. It contains the phloem and xylem which carry sugar and water to the flower. It is constructed of three types of cell, two of which are dead matter and are used only for structural jobs.

Rigid spine.

That sounds brutal.

Those are actually quite cool. Depends on the context of the poem.

The meaning of the Title was to trick all the damn metal heads into coming in here to bitch about solos, and instead get them two write poetry... OP has a better chance with 1000 monkeys and 1000 type writers

Emerald spinal tower.

You're welcome.

how about decribing it as a chloraphyll phenomanon (sp?)?

i think the title refers to open your heart and how heavy you will be if you do it
