I know that Lee Ronaldo used to take the pickups out of the tele deluxe and put them into jazzmasters. Do you know if both pickups are the same size or would that require some extra work to fit them.

Humbuckers are humbuckers are humbuckers.

They are the same size.

Humbuckers are humbuckers are humbuckers except for single-coil sized humbuckers and minibuckers (like in the Firebird!)

They should be the same size if they're standard humbuckers, neither would be f-spaced or anything.

^ Yes, except for the ones that aren't humbucker sized

I sort of forgot about that.

Yes. As far as I know the deluxe pickups won't fit in anything else without modification, they're very wide and were made just for that guitar.

Jazzmasters don't have humbuckers and jazzblasters have wide range humbuckers in which are larger than normal ones.

You could route for them, but I'm not sure how you would modify the pickguard...

I knew that the deluxe humbuckers where bigger and I thought that the pickukps in the Jazzmaster where bigger than regular humbuckers so i thought that they might be the same size.
