i put a Gibson ES-335 pup in the neck and a Seymour Duncan SH-4 or SH-3 in the bridge of my Les Paul and it sounds amazing

alder telecaster? the JB might be a little trebly. can you give more details like what genre you play and what amp you use?

well i have a 62 reissue (made in japan) tele, alder body. and im playign through some vox amp cnt remeber the model. but im planing to buy a new tube amp soon just dnt know which one. i also have a ds-2 distortion, and im trying to find a tech 21 sansamp classic aswell

it's not helpful when you say Gibson ES-335 pickup when you don't say what pickup it is, it could be anything from an original PAF if you bought that guitar back in the late '50s or early '60s, it could be an original t-top or it could be a 490R or a '57 Classic.
