Hey guys, so my boss pedal should be coming sometime this week and was wondering can i use any 9volt adapter with it?

you can't use any 9volt adapter for it.
It must have the same polarity, probably has to be regulated also.
you can use many adapters on it though, you don't have to buy a way overpriced boss adapters.

EDIT: It has to be some 9V DC, probably positive center (the sign next to the power input shows this) adapter with about 100mA(If you want to link it to multiple pedals with a daisy chain you'll need something more though.)

Boss pedals (and most other pedals for that matter) are negative inner polarity. What this means is if you have a look at the actual power supply connector, you'll see that it consists of a middle prong and and a round bit around it. With negative inner polarity, the center prong thing is negative and the outer bit is positive. You'll often see pedals are labeled with a little diagram (normally right next to the place where you connect the power supply to the pedal) that indicates which part (inner or outer) is negative.
