I'm not sure if this is the place for this question but could you guys please recommend a mixer or an interface for me. I already have an M-Audio 2496 soundcard so I was thinking of going with an analogue mixer. I'll probably just be recording myself playing guitar at first for practice/riff writing purposes but I hope to eventually record a Korg Triton synth, bass, guitar, and vocals at the same time. I don't have any idea what to do about drums. I'll probably just use some software or the korg. My budget is approximately $250 and I would prefer to buy used to get more bang for the buck.
Stuff I use:

Schecter C-1 Classic
Ibanez RG350DX
Peavey 5150 (Signature)
Marshall 1960AV

There may be other things before a mixer that help you get a better sound. Have you got a good quality mic and preamp? Does your 2496 have four inputs? That might cover your Korg (I guess it's midi) bass, guitar and vocals. You may not need a mixer at this point.

You could always lay down the vocals seperate too for less bleed from other instruments so three ins might be enough.

I don't know - just a thought.
