The prices are relatively the same, so it's up to personal preference. (I assume you're talking about heads.)

Though I agree with stephen rettie, the JSX is superior.

If you aren't happy with the tone, I'd trade it. Just for something better than a TSL.

yea, i honestly think it's a bad idea, considering the JSX is one beastly amp, and hella versatile. What about the JSX's tone do you not like?

yeah don't trade it for a tsl...bad swap. jsx's sound far superior to tsl's. +1 to what don't you like about the jsx's tone?

The TSL sounds incredibly thin. Get a DSL, 900, or 800 if you want a marshall.

The JSX is a very sensitive amp with relation to equipment being used with it. I'm surprised you're tired of it because numerous things can change the tone and feel of this amp.
Like: pickup swaps, different guitars, the active eq, poweramp tube swap/bias switch, eq & od pedals, preamp tube swaps, cabinet/speaker swaps. It's even very sensitive to different cables, string guage, tuning & brand.
This amp doesn't lie and is very truthful when talking about the equipment used with it and the player playing it. More so than a lot of amps I've played. I call it The Judge.
