I got an ESP that I shipped with musiciansfriends today. After I got it out of the box and connected it to the amp the strings started buzzing and I noticed that the strings are too low (it has a floyd rose) and I tried using the pivtos screws at the front of the bridge but the strings get higher only at the end of the neck but not at the beginning, btw the bridge is high and I dont want to raise it anymore cuz... can anyone help me?
yeah im going to have to second this one, I have the same problem.
no one knows?
I believe you need a truss rod adjustment if those other two options aren't what you are looking for.
Sounds like a truss rod or neck problem to me
neck isnt bowed
make sure you bridge is lined up with the body when it is all tuned up. Then you got to adjust the truss rod (counter clockwise i believe) to create a little bit of a bow. If you neck is perfectly straight then you are going to get some buzz
This is inspiring me never to guitar buy online...
The neck is supposed to be bowed
Read this -Clicky-. I know it's an Ibanez site, but it applies to all guitars. Fear not the truss rod.
try to take of the locking nut and then shim it. they sell shims online. that sounds like the problem. thats the problem with my speedloader on my warlock...still havent fixed it though...
