Is the Fender Stop Dreaming Start Playing Pack worth buying for a player who is not so serious? I play bass and just want a guitar to screw around with. For 200$ I think this looks like a good deal. So Pit, Is this really worth it or is there some other pack/guitar that is good for around 200$? Does anyone have this and happy with it?

Thanks!

A $200 guitar sucks, a $200 guitar pack sucks ass.

Can't deny the truth.

But itll be fine for messing around on.

I've only had bad experiences with squires.
I'd see if there are any epiphone starter kits like that

i got a Washburn WI-14 guitar and a crate 15 watter in a 200 dollar starter pack, and they actually both sound GREAT.
SS is no substitute for tubes, and 15 watts isnt a lot, but it will definitely get you started

I wasn't aware that Eric Cartman was a UGer.

He said that about me

I got an Epiphone SG and an amp (which was OK but it broke) for about 500$, and a good multi-effects pedal for 350$ (I didn't buy in dollars, this is just an estimate).

Another quick question. Would it be worth just buying a guitar?

I could use me bass amps and effects. Some of my effects are even made for guitar

Not too bad, but squires do pretty much suck. But if you want to just mess around and see if you like it yeah it's a good buy.
