anyway, whats the easiest way to get rid of fret buzz, i could just go down to the music store and ask them to do it but im saving my money for my new bass,

my guitar is a les paul 100 and i use elixir super lights on it, if it helps

easiest way is to raise the action

they probably wouldnt charge you very much to set the action a little higher....id do the full setup, it makes a world of difference, 35-40$ in my experience

but just raising the action should eliminate the fret buzz

Raise the action, you can do it yourself easy peasy, you just use an allen key until the buzzing stops - I'm sure there are more in depth instructions, maybe even videos on youtube if you need extra help.

Stores overcharge a helluva lot for what is just a 5-10 minute job.
