I'm running a BOSS NS-2 Noise Gate after an EHX Metal Muff into a Peavey ValveKing and I'd like to cut as much feedback as possible without sapping tone. In what order should I run the pedals and should I run the NS-2 through my effects loop too?

Thanks much

nah in your case don't use the loop in the effects loop.

Guitar -> noise gate (loop out) muff (loop in) -> amp

Ok, that's where I've got it already. Any idea what settings I should use, I doesn't seem to make much difference

What the hell dude? Please don't tell me you don't notice the silence of the amp... try playing a song and not just looking for the pedal to fail.
