I have a Line 6 Spider III and I want to get something better. I found online the Vox AD50VT and honestly it sounds pretty good. The sound is produces matches up to what I want to play and what I like to hear, it's got a good natural distortion and several gain levels to play with. Numerous effects are with it too but I don't play with those much. I just want to replace my Spider III with something that will sound better, both for practicing at home/dorm and cranking it at gigs (the Line 6 sounds horrible cranked).
So, if my parents agree, I plan to trade it in at my local music store and pay the remaining balance.

What do you say, UG? Is it a good swap?

EDIT: I know I have a 6505/5150 fund at the bottom but I can't really get that amp right now, college/university for me in Sept this year. I need something better than this Spider BUT with roughly the same versatility in size and weight.
